Sorry for the layoff guys, but with the amount of work we’ve been doing over the past few weeks we had to hold onto some of these posts until we could get through all of the content. While in Maryland in February, we spent some time with the Sugar Junkies band, getting to know them, shooting, and vibing. They had approached us about getting an EPK done as well as working on their online presence, and after hearing their discography we had no choice but to accept! Right outside the University of Maryland’s campus, we met up with A. Walk, Shovv and Jay Robot to handle their sugar fix.

Shoot Out With The Fly Brigade General
Posted in: Music, Portraits
Tommy “Fly Guy” Foster, a DMV native and skilled wordsmith, stopped through the spot to get some work done for his upcoming mixtape titled “Valentine’s Day Massacre” which will be available next month. We were glad to have him, and got a sneak peak of some of his most recent work which was amazing. If you’re interested in keeping tabs on the Fly Brigade and developments with Tommy himself, follow him on twitter: www.twitter.com/tommyflyguy Check some of the shots after the jump. -

Well, its about 4:45 am on Thanksgiving day and we’re winding down after pretty much just getting home and dumping my cards. An old friend of mine hit me up and wanted to know if I could swing out to Virginia Beach and get some photos and videos of a studio session. Of course, with us going WAYYYY back, I couldn’t say no, so I threw my gear in my bag and gave my partner Bryon Summers a call to let him know I was on the way. While most people were home enjoying their evening, we were en route to some strange address with a car full of photo and video gear! -

Well, this past weekend, we were booked for an EPK shoot. What’s an EPK you ask? Well, in short EPK stands for Electronic Press Kit. The artist takes the photos, a press release, and demo/mixtape/single and sends these off to record labels, magazines, newspapers, etc. In the age of computers however, all of these things can be handled with a well planned website and HTML enabled e-mail campaign.
